Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing vendor and customer accounts, and supporting operational efficiency across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and vendor account records
Assist in inventory accounting and reconciliation
Perform credit card reconciliations and track supporting documentation
Process Payroll and related payroll entries as needed
Assist with month-end closing procedures and journal entries
Support sales tax and other compliance filings
Work cross-functionally with purchasing, receiving, and operations
Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes
Perform ad hoc tasks and assist in other departments when needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Proficient in ERP/accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
Strong Excel and reconciliation skills
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and dependable
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong communication skills and willingness to take initiative
Bonus Experience (Preferred but Not Required):
Knowledge of inventory and WIP accounting
Familiarity with freight, sales tax, and 3-way match processes
Exposure to internal controls and audit procedures

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
