About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Tally Accounting Management

Maintain accurate day-to-day entries in Tally ERP.

Record journal entries, payments, receipts, and ledgers.

Reconcile bank statements with books of accounts.

2. Billing and Invoicing

Prepare and verify purchase and sales invoices.

Ensure timely generation and dispatch of invoices to clients.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.

3. GST Compliance & Filing

Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).

Ensure proper input tax credit reconciliation.

Stay updated with GST regulations and implement necessary changes in filing.

4. Report Preparation

Generate financial reports like Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, etc.

Create summaries and statements for management review.

Maintain accurate records for internal and external audits.

5. Vendor and Expense Management

Maintain records of vendor payments and expense tracking.

Verify vendor bills and ensure timely disbursement.

Handle petty cash management and expense vouchers.

6.Taxation and Compliance Support

Assist in TDS deduction and return filing.

Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory compliance.

Documentation & Record Keeping

Maintain well-organized accounting files and documentation.

Ensure proper archiving of all financial and tax records.

7. Coordination and Communication

Liaise with banks, vendors, and internal departments for finance-related matters.

Provide timely updates and support to management and auditors.
