Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of property accounting, including preparation of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, lease administration, and variance analysis

Manage all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of properties

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for each property

Oversee lease administration, including the calculation of rent increases, tenant billings, and reconciliations

Coordinate with property managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Handle year-end audit processes and tax return preparation

Utilize MRI and Yardi software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency

Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
