Accountant

OUR Client a Brand looking for Accountant for Mumbai Central location We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant proficient in Tally, Excel, Banking, GST, TDS, and TCS. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day financial transactions, statutory compliance, and reporting to ensure the organization’s financial health and adherence to regulations. *Key Responsibilities:* 1. *Accounting & Financial Reporting:* - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally. - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets. - Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts and timely closing of books. 2. *Taxation & Compliance:* - Handle GST filings, payments, and returns. - Manage TDS and TCS calculations, deductions, and submissions. - Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. 3. *Banking Operations:* - Manage banking activities, including fund transfers, bank reconciliations, and loan documentation. - Monitor cash flow and prepare reports for financial planning. 4. *Data Analysis & Reporting:* - Create and maintain financial reports and dashboards using Excel. - Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization and budget planning. 5. *General Duties:* - Assist in internal and external audits. - Support payroll processing by providing necessary financial data. - Maintain and update records for accounts payable and receivable. *Qualifications:* - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in a similar role. - Proficiency in Tally ERP +/Prime. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and interpersonal skills.
