Job Title: Accounts Assistant Department: Finance & Accounts Location: BKC Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager Employment Type: Full-time --- Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support the finance and accounting operations of our company. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and assist in preparing reports. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial management and compliance with statutory regulations. --- Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts. Assist in daily bookkeeping and data entry tasks. Process invoices, receipts, payments, and petty cash transactions. Reconcile bank statements and other financial statements. Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns and ensure timely filing. Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements. Support the month-end and year-end close processes. Handle internal and external queries related to accounts. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits. Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records. --- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong MS Excel and computer skills. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
