Full job description
Staff and Senior Accountants are responsible for preparing, entering, maintaining, reviewing and ensuring the integrity of financial data and confirming financial compliance. This is a fully in person position, no remote or hybrid schedules.
Essential Functions:
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolve discrepancies.
Maintains general ledger by performing monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss reports, and other financial statements.
Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
Assist with certain required governmental reporting to federal agencies
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
May perform other duties as required or directed
Competencies:
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Strong organizational skills including attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well with external vendors and internal customers.
Time management skills.
Adaptable to change, flexible.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master's and/or CPA preferred
· 1 year experience in accounting field
· Knowledge of GAAP
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
