Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join Iconic Garage Door Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting and financial management, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Duties

Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with accounting principles.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

Perform payroll processing and ensure compliance

Conduct double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.

Collaborate with internal teams to support private equity initiatives and reporting requirements.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Reconcile bank statements and manage debits and credits effectively.

Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in corporate accounting or financial accounting roles.

Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage and Quicken is highly desirable.

Experience with payroll processing is a plus.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,754.87 - $73,167.15 per year
