We are hiring Accountant , for working for USA at night shift from 8pm to 5am IST. It's a work from opportunity with Saturday and Sunday are holidays.
Job profile
Previously working for any USA company @accountant capacity and thorough knowledge about the tax and legal filing with govt entity is must.You should have worked on quick books.Assists the Director of Accounting with all administrative tasks related to the accounting department. This position will assist with providing accounting direction for all of our Company entities. Strong attention to detail, polished communication, and the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities are key to the success of the person entering this role.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and make journal entries dailyReconcile Daily Sales and Credit Card GL's
Reconcile private event payments
Assist with weekly check runs
Assist with End-of-month closing
Manage employee expense reports and employee credit cards via Expensify
Prepare monthly Fixed Asset additions to Depreciation Software
Promote teamwork and quality of service through daily communication and coordination with the various departments.
Partner cross-functionally to understand business transactions and ensure that transactional activities are complete and coded accurately
Consistently look to implement efficiencies in processes and procedures by making recommendations to the Director of Accounting
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
2-3+ years of progressive accounting experience
General understanding and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Display a strong work ethic
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with other departments
Ability to manage sensitive data with maturity and professionalism
Strong prioritizing, organizational, and time management skills
Must have an analytical mindset and have strong problem-solving skills
Must possess a strong understanding of and ability to use accounting software; experience using Compeat a strong plus
Ability to analyze problems and make effective recommendations for improvementJob Type: Full-timeOffice
