Job Description

We’re looking for an organized and driven Accountant to join our growing team at our company. The Accountant's position will work closely with our seniors and operations personnel and handle day-to-day bookkeeping.

We’re an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and revitalize our record keeping and bring more organization to our day to day financials.

Responsibilities and duties

• The responsibilities and duties section is the most important part of the job description. Here you should outline the functions this position will perform on a regular basis, how the job functions within the organization and the title of the manager the person will report to.

• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of regular audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.

• Preparing accounts and tax returns.

• Monitoring spending and budgets.

• Auditing and analysing financial performance.

• Financial forecasting and risk analysis.

• Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits.

• Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports.

• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

• Oversee taxes and abide by statutory regulations.

Requirements

Qualification & Skills

• 0-3 years accounting experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

• Expertise with Tally, QuickBooks, etc.

• Extensive knowledge of Indian GAAP.

• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases.

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
