Accounting Analyst
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related field
2+ years of experience in accounting or other relevant experience – bonus points if it is in the construction industry
Proficient in Microsoft applications with strong Excel skills
Proficient in the use of ERP/Accounting software common in the construction industry
Excellent communicator who can work well with a diverse team
Highly organized with unique attention to detail
Self-starter who can balance multiple projects while adhering to deadlines
Responsibilities
Month-end closing processes including journal entries and various analyses
Utilize our ERP to complete weekly job revenue/cost and service cost recognition processes, reviewing project billing and profit performance
Treasury management including bank reconciliations and cash management
Balance sheet reconciliations including investigation and adjustment of unusual items
Expense management and reconciliation via vendor platform
Process sales and use tax returns and other business tax filings
Organize facility lease contracts and related bills to ensure understanding of expenses
Learn and provide backup support to Payroll, A/R, and A/P
Support External audit and other compliance functions
Support the CFO and Controller with implementing projects to improve accounting operations
Work with the M&A Integration team to implement accounting policy and process changes for acquired companies
Responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of information and disclosing information to only the President, CFO, and/or VP of HR
Must continuously adhere to the Company’s Controlled Substances and ******* Standard
Expected to work safely, by using good judgment and following all Company safety policies and work procedures with authority to stop an unsafe act
Performs other related duties as required
