We are in search of a meticulous Credit Clerk to strengthen our team in Salisbury, Massachusetts. This role will be pivotal in the efficient processing of credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. The successful applicant will also monitor customer credit accounts and undertake necessary actions to collect overdue payments.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer credit applications with accuracy and promptness

• Keep up-to-date and precise customer credit records

• Address and resolve customer credit queries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts consistently

• Take necessary action to collect overdue payments from customers

• Utilize accounting software systems efficiently to streamline processes

• Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel, to maintain records and generate reports

• Handle accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Carry out billing functions accurately and promptly

• Oversee and manage cash activity effectively.
