My client are a large organisation who are located right in the city centre with carparking available on site. They operate in the hospitality industry and have strong company values with a large focus on giving back to the community, supporting a number of different causes for New Zealand. This is a contract position that requires an immediate start.
The Role
Your Duties Will Include
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager the role of the Accounting Clerk works in a team of 4. You will be responsible the full function of payables and receivables and your responsibilities will include:
Accounts Payables - invoice processing, approvals, coding and creating batches ready for payments
Full function Accounts Receivable - Receipting and allocations, statements, reconciliations, refunds and credits
Credit control - Following up via emails and phone calls
Bank reconciliations
Ad hoc tasks as required
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will be someone that enjoys a role with variety and has great organisational and communication skills.
You will have experience in a similar role, where you have been tasked with both payables and receivables and have taken ownership of the role. This role also requires someone who can work independently but also as part of a team.
