Key Responsibilities:
• Data Entry: Accurately input financial transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries, into accounting software.
• Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain and update ledgers and other financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Report preparation: assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies while processing financial data.
• Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring that all records are accurate and readily available.
• Communication: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: A degree in B.Com, BBA, M.Com, or MBA with a focus on accounting or finance.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, data entry, or bookkeeping.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies in data and resolve issues efficiently.
• Confidentiality: Strong understanding of maintaining confidentiality in financial data.
