Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Oversee and review general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations, including GST and Income Tax.
Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage the budgeting process and provide regular updates to the CFO and management team.
Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital management to support business operations.
Collaborate with external auditors during annual financial audits and address any audit findings.
Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices and make recommendations for process improvements.
Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring their adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Maintain strong relationships with banks, vendors, and other stakeholders, resolving any financial issues that arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.
Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally, Excel, and other financial management systems.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong understanding of budgeting and cash flow management.
Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
SALARY: The salary for this position is in the range of + to 10 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
