Fixed Assets Accounting Manager
Responsible for managing the lifecycle of fixed assets and leases in the company, including acquisitions, tracking, maintenance, depreciation, and disposal
This role involves ensuring that all fixed assets are accurately recorded and aligned with company policies, tax and legal requirements
The Fixed Assets Manager works closely with the finance team, engineering, internal auditors, and other departments to ensure compliance with accounting principles and industry standards
Manage the lifecycle of fixed assets and leases, including acquisitions, tracking, maintenance, depreciation, and disposal
Ensure that all fixed assets are accurately recorded and aligned with company policies, tax and legal requirements
Collaborate with the finance team, engineering, internal auditors, and other departments to ensure compliance with accounting principles and industry standards
Maintain and update fixed asset schedules
Utilize fixed assets depreciation software to manage asset records
Develop and implement internal controls related to fixed assets
Prepare and present reports on fixed assets for various audiences
This role is a functional manager position and does not involve managing personnel
The work environment includes an office setting with minimal exposure to a manufacturing production mill environment that can be hot, dusty, humid, and noisy
Some mental, visual, and physical fatigue from computer terminal use is expected

Pay and Benefits
