Monthly tracking and analysis of job/project costs to budget and contracts by cost center
Responsible for monthly forecasting and annual budgets for all cost centers
Monitor Accounts Receivable accuracy and collections
Set-up new vendors and new clients according to company policy
Review and Approve Accounts Payable invoices
Review subcontractor invoices for proper allocation to jobs
Handle requirements related to insurance certifications, releases and other required documents
Act as back-up to Staff Accountant, Accounting Clerks and Payroll staff to keep the department running smoothly

Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in construction accounting role.
• 2-5 years of experience in an accounting management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. MBA/CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, cost controls, and job costing.
• Ability to understand and review complex billing and job costing concepts.
• Proficient in MS Office products, including Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of automated account system such as J.D. Edwards System.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, and make recommendations.
• Able to work as a team player with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to change.
• Open to development of skills and knowledge.
• Able to work on-site weekdays and travel between locations.
