Canada Financial Accounting and Tax Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our financial accounting and tax outsourcing operation in Canada.

• Leading and developing staff accountants and related workflows.

• Collaborating with client firms/companies to manage all accounting operations.

• Preparing and publishing quarterly and annual financial statements.

• Managing regulatory reporting requirements.

Leadership Responsibilities: As the Canada Financial Accounting and Tax Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing staff accountants, collaborating with client firms/companies, and preparing and publishing financial statements. You will also be responsible for managing regulatory reporting requirements and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Skills Required: To succeed in this role, you will need a proven track record of experience as a manager or similar position, preferably from an industry or Certified Accountant (CA) firm. You should have strong experience with preparing and reviewing financial statements, with auditing experience being an added advantage. You will also need excellent analytical and forecasting skills, as well as experience with various accounting software administration such as Tally ERP/Sage/Xero/QBO/Case ware.
