About the Role

We are looking for an experience accountant with demonstrated success working in Finance across Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and Payroll.

Duties may include:

ADMINISTRATION

Answering telephone calls, post office runs

Recording daily takings for Pharmacy business

Organising change for the pharmacies

Management and Procurement of stationery

Banking

Customer statement management

Debt collection - chasing debtors for payment from third week of the month

Invoice collation and checking authorisations for payments during the month

Data entry for batch payments

Data entry for direct debits

Petty Cash Management & Reconciliation

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

Resident database management (over 200 residents)

Fees management (Daily Care Fee, DAP, DAC, AC, MTCF, IT),

Period billing processing

Data entry and Direct Debit Processing

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Data entry and Batch Payments Processing

PAYROLL

Providing clear, accurate and timely processing of group payroll and related activities with 100% accuracy all the time. Identifying opportunities for innovation, improvement and risk management in payroll and related matters.

INDIVIDUAL

Relevant qualification in account support functions, e.g. Certificate IV in Accounting or above

Qualifications in payroll or related equivalent verifiable experience

Professional CA or CPA membership

Proven experience in achieving high level accounting outcomes

Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and timely processing of vendor invoices

High level computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Google, XERO and modern AP and AR systems

Demonstrable experience in all aspects of payroll service and support

High level customer service and communication skills

Strong administration and data processing skills

Sound logical reasoning skills and ability to work systematically

High attention to detail and sound analytical skills

Have initiative and willingness to learn and be flexible

Demonstrated ability to be a team player and work with a diversity of people

Excellent communication skills and personal presentation

Strong team player with a proactive, problem solving and helpful work ethic

Ability to complete tasks to a given timeframe

Time management and organisational skills to complete tasks to strict deadlines and prioritise workload

Capacity to work unsupervised and in a team

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience with Humanforce Workforce Management Solution

Experience with Xero Software

Excellent logical reasoning skills and ability to work systematically

Well developed knowledge to deal with a range of reconciliations and analysis

Experience working in the Aged Care or Health Care industry

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $38.46 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Experience:

Financial Administration: 1 year (Preferred)

Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)

Payroll: 1 year (Preferred)
