Responsibilities Could Include:
Exporting/Importing AR/AP from management software to accounting software
Accounts Receivable processes
Payroll processing start to finish
Review invoices and reconcile account statements
Maintain organized records of inventory transactions, vendor payments, and customer invoices
Assist with month-end duties, including account reconciliations and accruals.
Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems
Communicate with HR/Payroll programs on behalf of the company
Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department as a back up to the front end
Qualifications:
Post secondary diploma or degree required.
Minimum 2 years previous work experience in an accounting position.
Proficient computer skills: Sharepoint; MS Excel; MS Windows; MS Word; Internet; Database software; Accounting software (QuickBooks Online); Electronic mail
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as on a team
Time management skills with ability to meet deadlines - A strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize workflow.
Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
