Job description

Candidate Requirements

Education: B.Com (mandatory); M.Com or related certification is a plus.

Experience: 5–7 years in accounting and administration; manufacturing sector preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including entries, reconciliations, and vouchers.

• Maintain and update all books of accounts per accounting standards.

• Handle GST filings, TDS calculations, and returns, and other statutory compliances.

• Prepare and support financial reports, MIS, and documentation for audits.

• Liaise with the company’s external auditors for statutory and internal audits.

• Monitor accounts receivable and payable; follow up with vendors and customers.

Office Administration

• Oversee general office administration and daily operations.

• Manage office supplies, infrastructure, vendors, and service providers.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the smooth functioning of office tasks.

• Handle scheduling, documentation, filing, and compliance support.

Technology & Communication

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Exposure to or willingness to learn tools like ChatGPT for document drafting, templates, etc.

• Handle internal and external communications with professionalism and fluency in English.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Tally, MS Office, and accounting software.

• Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.

Soft Skills:

• Fluent spoken and written English.

• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and dependable.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.

Preferred Attributes

• Willingness to adapt to startup-style work environment with multitasking responsibilities.

• Reliable and confident to represent the company in coordination with auditors and vendors.
