Job Summary: Account Assistant/ Executive
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, handling GST filing and entries, and ensuring compliance with basic accounting principles and Indian accounting policies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day accounting entries and management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Handle GST filing and entries, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and deadlines.
Maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyse financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting.
Conduct periodic audits of financial activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and Indian accounting policies.
Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and resolve any accounting-related issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven work experience at least 2 to 3 years in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Familiarity with Indian accounting policies and regulations.
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools TALLY etc
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
