Job Roles And Responsibilities
An Accounts Payable (AP) Executive with SAP is responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices using the SAP system. The role includes verifying invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts, posting invoices in SAP, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. The AP Executive also reconciles vendor statements, resolves payment-related queries, maintains proper financial records, and supports month-end closing activities. Attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and familiarity with the SAP FI module are important for this role.
Process vendor invoices in SAP
Verify invoices with purchase orders (PO) and goods receipts
Post invoices in SAP (e.g., MIRO / FB60)
Prepare and process vendor payments
Reconcile vendor statements
Handle vendor queries and payment follow-ups
Maintain accurate financial records
