Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and timely accounting entries related to project expenses, revenues, and cost accounting.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports for each project.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payments.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for project-specific materials and supplies.
• Issue purchase orders for necessary materials and supplies.
• Ensure proper stock control and minimize waste or delays.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Support project managers with financial and inventory-related information.
• Track project costs and expenses to ensure accurate project budgeting and reporting.
• Coordinate with project team members to ensure timely access to necessary materials.
• Assist in project closeout activities, including final accounting and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain organized filing systems for accounting and inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally).
• Knowledge of inventory control systems, inventory management software, and warehouse procedures.
• Familiarity with project-based accounting and inventory management practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to analyze financial data and inventory records to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
Experience: Experience in accounting and inventory management, preferably within a project-based environment
