Full Job Description
Job Functions:
Good theoretical knowledge of the following Laws: -
- Accounting Principles & Book-keeping
- Working knowledge of Quick books & Tally, Winman
- Knowledge of Income Tax | TDS and GST - Expert knowledge of Excel
Do the daily accounting of clients, like payment voucher, bank expenses, cash expenses, bank reconciliation, approval of payments etc.
Assisitacne of preparation of Financial Statements like Balance Sheet, Profit and loss account, Cash Flow statements as per the Indian Accounting Standards.
Prepare MIS and discussion with the top management on the monthly MIS.
Assistance in Statutory Audit / Internal audit/ Management Audit and preparation reports
Preparation of GST returns | Income Tax returns | TDS Returns and payment of taxes.
Assist seniors in preparation of details/ replying to queries raised by clients/ statutory auditor of client on accounting, corporate tax matters wherein issues may range from accounting, MAT, capital gains, tax payments, preparation of return of income, etc.
Keeping track of latest accounting developments /judicial pronouncements on accounting, relating corporate laws etc.
Networking & Identification of opportunities – begin to identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicates to the Manager / Partner.
Visit & Coordination at different offices of the firms as per the firm & client requirements.
Other Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of Post Qualification experience in accounts/ book keeping in accounting firm/ big four /Consultancy Firm only.
Expert knowledge of Excel. Must have hands on experience in Excel to generate meaningful information & reports as required.
Fluent English communication and drafting skills.
Should be able to manage stringent and multiple deadlines.
Would be from Central or harbour line, preferred if residing at nearby area of Vidhya Vihar i.e., Ghatkoper, Thane, Sion, Wadala, Chembur, Wadala, Kalyan, Andheri, Bandra etc.
