Purpose of the role
Accounts Executive will be acting as a member of the Finance team. Finance team manages General Accounting / Consolidation / Prepayments /Accruals and provisions for India Accounts..
Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure
Transactional:
• AP processing–Checking invoices, acceptance, posting
• Client Invoicing – Generation of AR invoices
• Intercompany invoicing
• Cash allocations (remittance posting)
• Statement reconciliations – Clients, Suppliers
• Addressing supplier queries
• Staff expense processing
• Investigating and resolution of client queries
• Supplier payment processing – Payment runs
• General Accounting / Consolidation / Prepayments /Accruals and provisions
• Working knowledge of India taxes
• Fixed Assets – Accounting & depreciation
• Month-end close procedures
• MIS – Ageing, cash-flow and other report
• Laise with Statutory Auditors
Taxation
• Prepare tax payments
• Estimate and track tax returns
• Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
• Organize and update the company’s tax database
• Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
• Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
• Liaise with tax auditors, government authority
• Forecast tax predictions to senior managers
