Founded in 1++3, the company has grown rapidly in recent years, and now offers a wide range of professional services including dubbing, subtitling, access services, voice casting, translation, song recording, and mixing for movies, web series, TV shows, documentaries, songs, jingles, TVC’s and radio spots. The company also provides training for aspiring voices in techniques to enhance their skills and improve performance in any language.
About the Role
We’re looking for an organized and dynamic Senior Accounts Executive to join our growing team. The Accounts Executive will work closely with our other accountants and operations personnel and handle day-to-day bookkeeping.
Responsibilities
• Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities independently.
• Coordinate for completion of annual audits and review financial reports/support as necessary.
• Prepare and maintain all records like artist payments, client payments, vouchers, bills, vouchers, receipts, bills, Payments, Bank Reconciliation, Monthly GST Working, and Reconciliation of Sundry Debtors & creditors, and Handling petty Cash Records, TDS calculation.
• Ensure that all entries (artist & client) are entered in the corresponding software/system accurately.
• Coordinate with the Bank officials concerning Fund Transfers, Foreign payments, Uploading amounts in Forex cards, and any other Banking related work & queries
• Analyze and report on financial status, including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation, and analysis
• Prepare and file taxes for companies and individuals by analyzing all company assets, income, anticipated expenses, and liabilities to reach a total tax obligation for the year. After the analysis is complete, suggest recommendations on reducing total tax liabilities in the future.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Required Skills
We are looking for individuals who have the following skillset:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience or Semi Qualified CA
• 2- 5 years of accounting/finance experience
• Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with accounting software
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
• Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
• Highly detail-oriented
