Job Vacancy: Accounts Executive / Purchase Manager
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Responsibilities
for Accounts Executive
Principle responsibilities
· Look after the day to day accounting activities.
· Responsible for review of accounts receivable and accounts payable, expense accruals, bank
account reconciliations, etc., for the Company
· Analyse financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital
· Maintain timely cash recording and monitor daily cash balances
· Review all invoicing and payables
· Ensure the accuracy and propriety of all financial data and reports
· Review of financial statements, monthly and quarterly reports, and variance analysis
· Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting
control procedures
· Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with GAAP and internal policies and
procedures
· Identify, recommend and initiate process improvements and enhancements
· Assist in preparation of audit and review work papers for internal and external audits
· Assist the management team with preparation of annual budgets and operating expense
reconciliations.
for Purchase Manager
Manage the purchasing process including the buying, selling and distributions aspects of the company.
Review new project proposals for the company.
Communicate with the marketing and Design team to effect working strategies.
Analyze existing purchasing processes for performance.
Implement improvements to existing purchasing processes and delivery systems.
Handle contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers
Identify ideal suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Qualifications for Account Executive cum Purchase Manager
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
· Strong Excel skills.
· Must be detail oriented and a team player.
· Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teams
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills as the role requires
Prior experience working in the purchasing department in the Turnkey Interior / Construction industry required.
Strong understanding of the market conditions and trends
Working knowledge of negotiation techniques in the industry
Exceptional interpersonal and social skills to build a good rapport.
Positive and professional demeanour.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great team player
Flexible to travel and work long hours as necessary. Develops a purchasing strategy.
Reviews and processes purchase orders.
Manages other members of the purchasing team.
Maintains records of goods ordered and received.
Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers.
Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.
Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts.
Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price.
Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfilment of orders.
Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services.
Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise.
Keeps up with trends in procurement.
Travels to vendor locations.
Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.
