Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing Shipment Documentation:
- Prepare and verify all necessary shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with shipping standards and customer requirements.
- Client Invoice Management:
- Prepare, process, and issue accurate invoices for clients.
- Ensure all relevant details are captured and payments are tracked.
- Handle E-way and E-invoicing tasks.
- Shipment Invoice Entries in Tally & Foreign Accounting:
- Maintain and update shipment-related invoice entries in Tally and Ashlee Tally.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all records.
- Export data and reports from Tally to ensure smooth tracking and reporting.
- Purchase Invoice Entries:
- Record and process purchase invoices accurately in the system.
- Ensure proper accounting for all purchases and materials received.
- Uploading Bank Statements:
- Regularly upload and reconcile bank statements to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately in the system.
- Ledger Reconciliation:
- Perform regular ledger reconciliations, ensuring all entries are accurate.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in the financial records.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to clear up any issues.
- Journal Entries:
- Prepare and record journal entries for various accounting transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards for all journal entries.
- Assisting in Audit:
- Assist the audit team with document preparation and gathering during audits.
- Ensure that all accounting processes and records are audit-ready and compliant.
• Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts or finance-related role, with a focus on shipment documentation and proficiency in Tally software.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Tally and other accounting software.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
