Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to join our dynamic team who will be working for our 3 companies - Qubit Capital, HippoCabs, 108 Adventures Advisory LLP.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Accounts & Finance Manager will play a crucial role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organisation. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Single handedly prepare, manage and maintain the company's financial records, including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Data entry, generating invoices, bank statement reconciliation, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
• Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Coordinate and liaise with all the banks for day to day banking operations.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and advisors for audits and tax filings.
• Filing all the GST & TDS returns on a timely basis.
• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial analysis and support for business decision-making, including cost analysis, pricing strategies, and investment evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimise financial operations.
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant/ Accounting Manager/ Finance Manager, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent knowledge & command on Tally & Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership and people management abilities.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
• Experience with financial modelling and data analysis tools.
