Role Overview
We’re hiring an Accounts & Finance Manager who can own end‑to‑end finance operations across our India and US entities . The ideal candidate is hands‑on with accounting platforms (QBO, Zoho, Tally), understands both India compliances (GST, TDS, MCA) and US accounting / compliance basics , is comfortable managing US bank accounts and cross‑border communication , and can produce sharp MIS / management reports . Exposure to subscription / SaaS metrics and comfort with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) will set you apart.
Key Responsibilities
1) Accounting & Compliance (India & US)
• Day‑to‑day accounting in Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks Online ; monthly close and reconciliations.
• Handle parent and subsidiary company accounting across India and US ; intercompany entries and eliminations.
• Manage India compliances : GST & TDS (monthly / annual) —returns, reconciliations, and working papers.
• Support US accounting & compliance (coordination with advisors on filings as applicable); maintain vendor 1099 and related documentation as needed.
• Prepare and review sale invoices , revenue recognition checks, and support for subscription billing.
2) Banking, Cash & AR / AP
• Operate US and India bank accounts ; daily cash position, bank payments (AP) , approvals, and reconciliations.
• Liaise with banks for OD renewals , forex conversions , remittances, and general ops issues.
• Own Accounts Receivable : invoice dispatch, collection follow‑ups , customer statement reconciliations, DSO tracking.
• Maintain and track customer and vendor agreements ; ensure billing terms and renewals are current.
3) Reporting & Insights (MIS)
• Build and present monthly MIS packs with P&L, BS, CF, variances, and actionable commentary.
• Develop management dashboards for leadership—revenue, margin, AR aging, cash runway, and SaaS / subscription metrics (e.g., MRR, ARR, churn, retention, LTV / CAC ).
• Use / reporting tools such as Clockwork.ai, Fathom, Reach Reporting ; strong Excel / Google Sheets modeling.
4) Audit, Governance & Compliance Support
• Coordinate statutory and tax audits —deliverables, schedules, and timely resolution of queries.
• Support MCA compliances in collaboration with Company Secretary (CS); provide accurate and timely data.
• Maintain SOPs , checklists, and documentation for process consistency and audit readiness.
5) Systems, Tools & Process Excellence
• Champion adoption of project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp) for finance tasks and cross‑team visibility.
• Work with AR / engagement tools such as Anchor, Ignition or similar; ensure clean data flows to accounting.
• Drive automation and productivity using ChatGPT / AI for checklists, summaries, first‑drafts, and reconciliations support.
• Partner with RevOps / Delivery to improve quote‑to‑cash, billing accuracy, and renewals hygiene.
6) Stakeholder Management
• Communicate confidently across clients, banks, vendors, and internal teams in India and the US.
• Provide timely responses and maintain a proactive cadence with leadership on risks and opportunities.
Must‑Have Qualifications
• Post‑Graduate in Accounting or CA (Inter) .
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing end‑to‑end accounting and customer coordination.
• Should have managed India and US company. preferably for a Service or Tech Product based org
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) , Zoho (Books / Finance) , and Tally .
• Working knowledge of India GST, TDS and experience supporting MCA compliances with CS.
• Experience with US entity accounting (subsidiaries / parent), US bank operations , and cross‑border communication.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets ; comfort with MS Office and presentation of MIS.
Good‑to‑Have / Preferred
• Exposure to Anchor, Ignition or other AR / billing / engagement platforms.
• Working knowledge of Clockwork.ai, Fathom, Reach Reporting (or equivalent BI / reporting tools).
• Familiarity with subscription / SaaS metrics and revenue operations.
• Experience with Monday.com / Asana / ClickUp for planning and tracking.
• Ability to review vendor / customer agreements for key commercial terms and operational implications.
• Demonstrated use of ChatGPT / AI to streamline finance workflows.

• Process excellence : automation wins, SOP adoption, and error‑rate reduction.
• Stakeholder satisfaction (internal & external) measured via feedback cadence.
