Full Job Description
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting the CFO with all accounting functions and also handle the Purchase Department. The Accounts Assistant will maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The candidate must have a strong background in accounting and experience in managing purchase activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the CFO in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including cashbook, bank statements, and ledgers.
Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents as required.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and company policies.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Handle purchase activities, including sourcing vendors, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Assist in the management of inventory and stock levels.
Liaise with other departments and vendors to resolve financial and purchase-related queries.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with audits.
Assist in any other accounting or administrative tasks as required.
