Position: Accounts Manager – NBFC Operations
Industry Focus:
Loan Against Property (LAP), Bill Discounting, Gold Loans, and other secured lending products.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate accounts for all loan products including LAP, gold loans, and bill discounting.
Monitor loan disbursements, EMIs, interest accounting, and NPA recognition.
Reconcile bank accounts, customer ledgers, and ensure timely reporting of financial statements.
Handle TDS, GST, and other statutory compliances applicable to NBFCs.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
Prepare MIS reports, aging reports, loan schedules, and financial summaries.
Maintain documentation and records as per RBI norms and internal policies.
Skills and Competencies:
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and NBFC financial structures.
Proficiency in Tally, ERP, MS Excel, and NBFC loan management software.
Good understanding of lending cycle, collateral management, and risk controls.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to coordinate with the operations team, credit team, and compliance officers.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
Professional certifications like CA (Inter), CMA, MBA (Finance) are preferred.
Working knowledge of RBI/NBFC regulations and taxation laws is a plus.
Experience:
5+ years of accounting experience in an NBFC or financial institution.
At least 2–3 years of specific experience in handling financial operations related to secured loans (e.g., LAP, gold loans, bill discounting).
Experience in managing loan books, interest accruals, disbursement entries, and recovery accounting.
