We are seeking a motivated & mature individual to join our Accounts team as our Accounts Officer. The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the accounts function ensuring correct processes are followed. You will be working closely with the rest of the team to ensure the efficient running of Procare's Accounts division.
Day to day you will be:
Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes;
Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations;
Generating and sending remittance advice's;
Ensuring accurate data entry and relevant information is entered in the systems;
Invoice payment follow up - liaising with relevant parties and recording of contact made;
Debtor chasing;
Making relevant queries on invoices or accounts with internal and external parties;
Coordinating online or phone payments as required;
Working effectively as part of the Accounts team.
Ideal attributes will include:
Demonstrated accounts experience would be advantageous;
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving;
Mature-minded and ability to work independently;
Team attitude & positive approach;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
An ability to accept and drive accountability for yourself;
Demonstrated skills in working with and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
