Pay: $18 - $1+ / hour

We are looking for individuals who can embrace our mission to purposely brighten and enrich the lives of those we serve with HEART; Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect & Teamwork.In this role you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Job Description
• Practice communication skills by telephone and email both internally and externally.
• Verify approval on all invoices and check request.
• Code invoices (Capital Expense processing only).
• Prepare and process checks for multi companies.
• Update and maintain vendor database.
• Process and enter 200-300 invoices per week.
• Audit and verify expenses reports.
• Process and follow-up on rush items.
• Maintain account payable files.
• Check figures, postings, and documents to ensure that they are correct (mathematically, accurate, and properly coded).
• Correct and note errors for accountants.
• Void/Stop payments of checks.
• Work with little or no supervision.
• Work under time constraints and multi-task.
• Prepare 10++s.
Qualifications
Level of Formal Education: Associates Degree minimum in Finance/Accounting/Business
Area of Study: Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred
Years of Experience: 2+ years of experience
Type of Experience: Accounts Payable
Technical Competencies: Proficient of Microsoft Office (i.e Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with automated systems (Yardi preferably)
Skills and Ability
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Information Systems: Yardi
Personal Attributes: Must utilize discretion and trustworthiness to frequent contact with confidential material, have experience in a related job and working in an office environment, and have a general understanding of accounting principles and practices
