Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk (Entry-Level)
Department: Accounting / Finance
Reports To: AP Supervisor
Location: Onsite – Manufacturing Facility

Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting or finance career who is eager to learn, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment.
You will join a small, collaborative accounting team processing approximately 1,200 invoices per month, with opportunities to grow your skills as the company continues to modernize its systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and timely
Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents; flag discrepancies for review
Ensure invoices have proper approvals and supporting documentation
Assist with weekly payment runs (checks and ACH)
Maintain organized electronic records in a paper-light environment
Respond to basic vendor inquiries with professionalism and follow-up
Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable
Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls
Work closely with accounting, purchasing, and plant personnel
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
0–2 years of accounting, accounts payable, or administrative experience
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
Interest in learning accounting systems and new software tools
