As one of the established and internationally known manufacturing industry, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their growing team based in Pyrmont. This is a 3 months temporary to permanent role. This role is a headcount for a permanent role ultimately. The role can be permanent from the get go if the interview goes well - so candidates in permanent roles are welcomed to apply!
About The Opportunity / Responsibilities
Reporting into a supportive and nurturing Manager:
Your Duties Include
Processing sales invoices, booking incoming receipts and reconciliation of customers open items
Preparation of aging list on a monthly basis
Customer master-data updates when needed
Issuance of credit/debit notes once necessary approval has been received
Prepare Statement of Accounts and send/discuss with customers
Follow up the creation of new customers, liaising with the insurance to get the coverage
Answer to customers / other departments queries in relation to the accounts
Manage the quarterly factoring activity and related items in customers balances.
Daily cash clearing and bank reconciliations
Help with the payment processing of customer rebates when needed
Cash flow forecast on planned receipts/payments
Support internal and external audits as required
Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors
Ideal Profile
This Opportunity Is For Someone Who Has Experience Within End To End Accounts Receivable Function With An Accounting Background. You Will Also Bring
Diploma in Accountancy/ LCCI/ equivalents qualification or relevant experience
Prior experience in a similar role ( 2 years or more )
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Exposure to SAP system is a MUST HAVE
Intermediate Excel proficiency
Good at time management and problem solving
Exposure working in a fast paced environment
Benefits
$37 - $45 per hour + Super
Once permanent - $70,000 - $85,000 + Super (based on experience) - can go slightly higher based on experience
3 months temporary to permanent full time position
Pyrmont location - close to public transport
Working hours - 9:30am - 6pm

6 days work from home per month
