About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our fantastic office in Hamilton. This role will be offered on a full-time permanent basis, with hybrid work arrangements available. You can enjoy working within a growing team that values longevity & genuinely cares for its people.

The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for resident billing, reimbursement, maintenance and communicating with residents, families and their appointed representatives whilst providing quality customer service.

Key Accountabilities

Process billing of residents weekly in JDE

Process Direct Debits weekly/monthly for resident site fees

Generate & process monthly & quarterly utility charges for relevant parks

Receipting of payments and completing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and systems

Send monthly account statements

Liaise with our Property team to ensure all new & vacating residents are correctly charged and billed within a timely manner

External liaison with auditors, third party paying bodies (e.g. Centrelink), residents and family members

Support management through analysis and special projects as assigned

Provide relevant training to Holiday Parks regarding end of day processes, if required. Some travel may be required

Debt collection & issuing of Reminder notices for arrears

About You

Knowledge of JDE financial systems preferred

Accounts Receivable experience with strong background in billing processing highly regarded

Sound understanding of accounting concepts and principles in high-volume sector

Focused on finding solutions

Works well in a team environment, participates and engages in team meetings & events

Positive mindset & approach with a strong customer service focus

High attention to detail

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

Excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaise with staff at Holiday parks and Lifestyle Villages on a regular basis
