About the role

The Accreditation and Development Coordinator plays a key role in shaping the quality and integrity of EDU’s higher education (Ikon) offerings. This position is responsible for supporting the development, accreditation, and ongoing review of courses to ensure they meet regulatory standards and remain competitive, relevant, and industry-aligned.

Working closely with the Associate Dean (Academic Programs) and a range of internal stakeholders, this role contributes to the continuous improvement of curriculum design, academic governance, and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing proposals and documentation for course accreditation and reaccreditation
Conduct benchmarking activities against comparable programs to ensure course competitiveness
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements
Support Schools in conducting regular course and subject reviews
Develop and implement processes to support accreditation and course development activities
Assist in preparing reports for the Academic Board and Board of Directors on accreditation matters
Provide secretarial support to Course Advisory Committees
Contribute to the development and enhancement of academic policies and processes
Other Responsibilities

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
Support the achievement of individual and team objectives
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Institute
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and wellbeing standards
Undertake additional duties as reasonably directed
Education, Experience & Skills

Significant experience in a similar role within a higher education provider
Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, accreditation processes, and curriculum governance
Proven experience in academic course development and implementation
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. TEQSA)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
