We are seeking a skilled Assay Technician to join our team in a full-time position. If you have experience in Acid digestion techniques, and proficiency with analytical instruments such as ICP-OES, AA, XRF, and fusions, we encourage you to apply! Fire assay is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sample digestion.
- Operate and maintain analytical equipment including Agilent ICP-OES, Agilent Atomic Absorption (AA), and Malvern XRF.
- Conduct mineral analytics with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
- Maintain safety standards and comply with laboratory protocols.
- Work in LIMS and company systems
- Asset to have experience in fire assay but not necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in acid digestion techniques.
- Knowledge of mineral analytics and related laboratory processes.
- Familiarity with ICP-OES, AA, XRF, and fusion methods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Fire assay is an asset but not required
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
