About the role
As the Delivery Manager in the ICT Platform Services and Support Section, you will own and drive operational excellence in the teams responsible for ACMA’s ICT platform services and support. You will directly manage 13 staff, functionally split across three work streams: Applications, Cloud and Infrastructure.
No two days will be the same as you manage operational aspects including scheduling, leadership, facilitating agile events in addition to providing general support and championing a continuous improvement culture.
Reporting to the Section Manager, this role in the Digital and Technology branch will have a direct impact in helping our cross-functional teams deliver incremental value to the agency.
In the Delivery Manager role, you will be expected to:
Translate strategic priorities into operational outcomes and measurable delivery
Exercise decision-making authority in managing complex ICT environments
Lead and develop people, fostering capability uplift and accountability
Build and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders, providing proactive communication and engagement, whilst enabling self-service visibility of status updates in Azure DevOps and Ivanti Neurons
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure service continuity
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation across the section and branch
Identify strategies and efficiencies for maintaining existing services, business applications, platforms to maximise availability, reliability, service continuity and security.

As the Delivery Manager, you bring your established leadership capability and are seeking a role with greater accountability, operational ownership, and impact. You will showcase your enthusiasm for leadership by guiding teams in the planning, technical development, maintenance activities and broad ICT service delivery.

Experience leading or coordinating ICT delivery in a multifaceted environment

Experience building capability, providing strategic guidance and leadership in a team environment
Demonstrated experience (typically 5+ years) in roles supporting delivery, project outcomes, team leadership, or executive coordination, or equivalent experience.
