Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional Acting teacher to join our team! Applicants should be passionate, energetic and professional. This role involves teaching two 1.5hour workshops, to ages 8-12 years (juniors) and 13-17 years (foundation) in acting. This teacher will help them develop their technique and performance in acting. We are keen for our teachers to create a fun and safe space for young performers to learn and thrive. The vacancy is currently for 3 hours on a Saturday 10am-1pm, however we are hoping to extend hours in the future with an afternoon school as we grow.
Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Be able to give strong direction to create truthful scenes for performances & castings
- Deliver warm-ups, technique and games
Requirements:
- Previous teaching experience at a theatre school or acting classes is preferred
- 1 year experience teaching
