Skilled Wound Care, a leading national surgical physician group servicing nursing homes for wound care, ostomy care, and minor skin care, is looking to hire an Credentialing Assistant to assist in the contracting and credentialing process for physicians and health practitioners.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and well-balanced individual who is looking to share their expertise to assist Skilled Wound Care in the organization of all facets of the provider credentialing process. We will work with you to grow and thrive in this position!
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and verify credentials, licenses, and certifications for healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in credentialing databases.
- Assist in preparing credentialing applications for facilities and insurance companies, including CAQH reviews.
- Communicate with providers to obtain necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with the credentialing team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage incoming daily calls and review received mail.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• At least 1+ years of experience in credentialing
• Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills
• MUST live in one of the following states: CA, CO,FL,GA,KS, MD,MO, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN ,TX, WY

Requirements

Job Overview
