Coventry Place, an Independent and Personal Care Senior Living Community in Decatur, Georgia is seeking a creative and kind Activities Director. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining a calendar of activities and effectively communicating it to participants (Illustratus experience desirable)
• ability to infuse joy and committing to enriching the lives of our residents
• Coordinating and communicating with staff members
• Planning and Overseeing group activities and securing entertainment of all kinds
• Posting a monthly calendar of events
• Arranging travel to off-site activities for outings (museums, farmers market, botanical gardens, etc.)
• Ensuring that staff and participants follow all safety protocols
• Submitting budgetary recommendations for equipment and supplies
• must be fun
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week

• High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
• senior living engagement: 3 years (Preferred)
• Activity Director: 3 years (Required)
