About the Role:
We are looking for experienced activity officer for the AHA 3 level role.
The activity officer is responsible for delivering individual and group social programs to frail elderly and patients with dementia. This position requires demonstrated skills, qualifications and experience appropriate for working in a specialized geriatric and rehabilitation setting.
This position will be suitable for a suitably experienced AHA who meets the criteria of an AHA 3; this is necessary due to the level of autonomy and specific skills required in this role.
Successful applicants may be required to be available work flexibly across services, locations and programs.
A merit list may be established from this recruitment to fill future vacant positions at the same level.

Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.

Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
