Job Objective
Logistic coordination with CHA, Freight forwarders, transporters and with suppliers for management of supply chain during current volatile market situation
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities
• Logistic planning & Execution for Export shipment by Land, Sea, Air taking into consideration destination requirement.
• Freight negotiation and fixation.
• Pre shipment and Post shipment documents – Bills of lading, Airway bill, Invoice, Packing list, Certificate of Analysis, Certificate of Origin, Health Certificate and other required documents.
• Co- ordination with Transporter, Custom brokers to ensure that the goods and documents comply with customs regulations, 3rd party inspection agency for cargo inspection.
• Shipping line, taking Haz Approval for different Hazardous commodity & follow-up for D.O. Booking.
• Clearing logistics payments, vendor invoices, update service provider on payment status.
• Co-ordination with the marketing & quality departments for export consignments.
• Liaison with the Export Inspection Agency for GSP, Form AI, SAFTA, SAPTA etc.
• Liaison with the Central Excise official for the export consignments.
• Development of new service providers.
• Approval of the invoices of Freight, CHA & Transportations etc.
