Job Description
This newly created role will provide high-quality administrative support across the school’s business functions, including Human Resources, Finance, and Operations. In addition, the postholder will assist with administration for wider school activities such as the volunteering programme through Community Action and Service.
This varied role working across multiple departments, requires an administrator who is welcoming, personable, and helpful, with a professional and friendly manner. The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to multitask, work flexibly, and demonstrate a proactive, ‘can-do’ approach to all tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a warm, confident, and professional manner, with excellent communication and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. You will be highly organised, adaptable, and able to multitask effectively while working under pressure and with minimal supervision. Energy, positivity, and a proactive approach are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community. A flexible attitude and willingness to support other administrative areas and provide cover when needed are key to success in this role.
This role is offered on a permanent basis working term time plus 4 additional weeks in the school holidays. In term time the role is Monday to Friday, 30-40 hours per week (to be agreed at interview), with a start time of 8.15am or 8.30am. During the school holidays, there can be flexibility in hours and hybrid working. A job share arrangement may be considered.
