Job Description
This is a hands-on administrative role that supports the smooth day to day operation of our café and function services. You will work closely with Hospitality leadership and both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure systems, scheduling, compliance and financial processes are maintained to a high standard.
The role is 0.6 FTE and would ideally be split over 5 weekdays.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage function enquiries, bookings and scheduling accurately and in a timely manner
Liaise with internal departments, Funeral Directors and Next of Kin to confirm and update booking details
Support café enquiries and operational updates across both sites
Process orders and invoices, assist with revenue reconciliation including cash handling and banking, and support invoice audits
Monitor menu pricing, product availability and wastage to support financial accuracy and cost control
Assist with team scheduling and allocation for functions and café operations
Maintain and publish hospitality menus via HQ and Connecteam, and support stocktaking, reconciliation and stock level monitoring
Support WorkSafe and food safety compliance, audit requirements and reporting, while fostering positive communication across FOH and BOH teams

You are an organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a hospitality environment and enjoys supporting operational teams to perform at their best.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience supporting hospitality teams across multiple areas of the business
Strong administrative capability with attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with food safety compliance, audit processes and risk management
Knowledge of hospitality financial, accounting and scheduling systems
Confidence working with invoices, reconciliation and revenue reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A high level of empathy and professionalism when interacting with members of the public
Strong Microsoft Office skills
A flexible, customer focused and can do approach
