The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) is seeking an experienced and high performing candidate to fill the role of Administration Assistant to support the team in the delivery of NHMRC’s Sapphire grants management solutions and supporting applications.
Job specific duties
As the Administration Assistant, you will provide a high level of administrative support with a diverse workload. This position requires a team oriented and highly motivated individual with excellent organisational skills who can work under general direction. Working with the direct report, the successful candidate will be required to:
Provide support to the Grant Systems Section.
Provide information and draft replies to straightforward queries.
Draft briefs and reports.
Provide advice and procedural guidance to staff and stakeholders on routine matters.
Assist in the coordination of responses to requests for information.
Contribute new ideas, including the identification of opportunities to improve the efficiency of business processes.
Assist in identifying system issues and contribute to the resolution of issues and problems.
Draft and publish system communications to internal and external stakeholders.

Mandatory requirement
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
