Job Description
The specific responsibilities of the position holder will be (though not restricted to) the following: Hands-on experience in handling administrative activities like maintenance of office & its equipment, travel desk management, guest housekeeping, cafeteria, and so on. Negotiation with the vendors and excellence in managing activities in coordination with internal/external departments including confidential correspondences to create favorable starting points with stakeholders. Complying with Indian Transport laws and regulations. Registering and licensing all vehicles under the management. Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules and maintaining detailed records. Assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet. Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize efficiency and profits and managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules. Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits. Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of service is achieved. Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency. Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft. Academic and Professional Qualifications: Bachelors/Master's degree in Commerce, Logistics/ accounting or equivalent degree. 3+ years experience into vehicle/car management and/or transportation/logistics industry. Excellent command on MS Excel and MS Word. Outstanding organizational skills and Quantitative ability. Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and exceptional interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to learn new processes and systems and possess the ability to adapt to changes.
