Administration Finance Officer
Location – Sydney Hyde Park
Employment type – Temporary Part-Time position, with an Opportunity for Ongoing, (6 days per fortnight), 8 hours per day
Salary – Clerk Grade 3/4 ($79,032.00 - $86,539.00 pro rata), plus Superannuation, and leave loading
Your role
This role provides high level, customer service and competent administrative support for finance, compliance and service delivery including budget tracking, invoice and debt management reporting.
What you’ll do
Provide high level clerical and administrative support and services to internal and external clients.
Track and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence for the unit and determine action or referral in accordance with office procedure.
Monitor and maintain store supplies and equipment.
Co-ordinate travel, meetings, catering and other hospitality arrangements and other office functions as required.
Provide financial support including accounts receivable, accounts payable, manage petty cash and retail sales takings. Reconciliation of revenue reports with SAP, checking monthly expenditure and income reports, ensuring bank revenue collected within the working area.
Maintain the unit’s records, systems and databases, record data and file to ensure that all documentation is securely stored and readily accessed.
What we’re looking for
Actively work to understand internal and external stakeholders, foster a cooperative working relationships and balance conflicting demands
Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated high level of computer literacy with common office software and finance management systems such as MyWorkZone, SAP or similar applications
Ex-Service personnel within the Australian Defence Force are encouraged to apply.
